The National Hoarding and Squalor Conference, presented by Catholic Community Services, is an industry conference focused hoarding and squalor and capacity building for service providers and agencies. Sharing the latest in intervention strategies and collaborative approaches, the conference should not be missed by practitioners from mental health, community services, health, aged care, social work, emergency services, local, state and federal government and academia.
The first conference was held in 2009 to raise the profile of the issue, generate discussion and develop agreed priorities for future action. Subsequent conferences have been held in 2012 and 2014, with the next conference taking place in 2016.
Catholic Community Services works with a diverse range of people and communities to enable and maintain sustainable and vibrant lives.
